Julie Naylon has had a passion for organization and the environment since she was a child growing up in the suburbs outside of Detroit, Michigan.  She planted trees on Earth Day and was an avid recycler.

Julie attended Columbia College in Chicago and graduated with a degree in film, a field in which her meticulous nature proved very useful.  After college, she moved to Los Angeles and worked as an assistant to such high profile industry veterans as Jerry Bruckheimer, Nora Ephron, Barry Sonnenfeld, Sean Ryerson and Adam McKay. The level of attention to detail required by her employers’ busy lives honed Julie’s organizational skills even further.

Seeking a change of pace, Julie moved to New York.  There she freelanced for professional organizer Julie Morgenstern, where she was responsible for finding new office space in Manhattan and coordinating news articles for Ms. Morgenstern’s company.  Julie also continued to work in the entertainment industry, and between film and television projects, colleagues hired her to organize their homes.  As she witnessed the immediate change in her client’s lives, Julie realized that the combination of her passion for the environment and skill at bringing order to people’s homes allowed her to make a real impact.

Julie currently resides in Los Angeles and is excited to help more people streamline their lives and downsize their carbon footprint.
